With almost a decade of experience, I can say I truly enjoy this work. I landed on IFS early in my career and found a modality that fit and have acquired ease in using it. A good portion of my clients are therapists learning the model.
After graduating from the University of Toronto with a degree in anthropology, I lived in Zurich, Switzerland, where I received an MBA in finance and worked in the corporate world. The release of Carl Jung’s Red Book to the public for the first time in 2009 inspired me to change careers. I studied my masters in counselling psychology with an emphasis on Jungian studies at Pacifica Graduate Institute.
I wrote my thesis on trauma and memory and insights from MDMA-assisted psychotherapy. I believe psychedelics can have a powerful role alongside therapy in healing and that the IFS model is uniquely suited in helping integrate psychedelic experiences.
Most recently I have had the experience of becoming a parent and navigating the terrain of motherhood is newly informing my therapy practice.
I continue to enhance my IFS skills by assisting in trainings.
I identify as neurodivergent, HSP and queer.
I am based in Toronto, (Tkaronto), on the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples, and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.
